Spring cleaning is in full swing here at Summermill at Falls River Apartments and it may be hard if you have little ones running around, making more of a mess than you can clean. Why not try to get them involved with cleaning? Help them learn to be productive and make the most of free time in the home.

Make a game out of cleaning! Who can put away the most toys? Can they clean up the room in five minutes? If so, they get a treat! Race your children yourself…don’t pit them against one another.

Give everyone their own chores. Maybe switch them up after a couple weeks, but have them be responsible for their own work. Be sure to follow through with rewards and punishments, too! Your children should be able to trust that you will be faithful in your promises.
